The meadow area of the park is cut once a year, after seeding, in September. This area is managed this way to provide habitat and biodiversity within the park landscape.

Fly through the park on the Zipwire, located outside of the fenced play area. Great for all ages
A public park since 1955, Ripon Park has challenging play equipment including a zip wire, climbing boulder, spinning cup and net rotator in addition to a childrens play area, outdoor fitness equipment, basketball hoop and football goals. The park also has large areas of mown grass for informal sport and relaxation as well tree planting and a wildflower meadow.
