Hertfordshire County Council is attempting to set a new record for the greatest number of Health Walkers out walking on Monday 14 May. Taking place during National Walking Month and as part of Hertfordshire’s Year of Physical Activity, the 3rd Mass Health Walk provides a bumper offering of over 25 Health Walks which are taking place across Hertfordshire.
Whether you’re a seasoned health walker or turning up for the first time, there are plenty of opportunities to get active and help break the Hertfordshire record. The number to beat is 630 walkers, set on the Mass Health Walk Day 2015!

To register as a walker, visit the website or just turn up 15 minutes before your walk is due to start.
The Herts Health Walks initiative offers over 60 walks per week across the country, helping residents to meet the target of 150 minutes of exercise per week as recommended by the UK’s Chief Medical Officers.
