Park Information

Shrubhill Common is mainly is woodland and scrub, together with two fields which are chalk grassland. In 2014 23 species of butterfly were recorded, including marbled whites. There are over 100 species of wild flowers, and herbs such as marjoram and basil.

Chauldon Adventure Playground is one of four accross Dacorum, which cater for six to 12-year olds (children under six are welcome when accompanied by an adult). They are a safe environment for children to meet, play and learn. They are managed and supervised by a team of qualified staff and provide a secure and stimulating environment for all children, including those with special needs and disabilities. Please remember that the playgrounds are run as open access facilities, which means that children are not restricted and can come and go as they wish.

Facilities include a floodlit sports court and a weekly youth club alongside a range of exciting play equipment.  Further information including hire charges and opening times can be found here
